Cypress Capital Management, LLC is a real estate investment and advisory firm based in Portland, Oregon. The company acquires income properties including office, retail, industrial, multifamily and hospitality properties throughout the Western United States. In addition, Cypress provides advisory services to property owners, developers, and real estate investors.


The company’s primary acquisition size is in the $5 million to $50 million range. Products types, including office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and hospitality properties, are determined via a combination of investor’s yield and preference requirements. Preferred property locations are major metropolitan cities in the western United States.


Projects are acquired on a leveraged basis with a combination of conventional debt and investor equity. Equity is funded both internally and externally with high net worth individuals and/or institutional sources. Cypress matches its investors to the specific transaction based on the capital requirement, risk profile, and projected returns. Returns are heavily biased in favor of invested capital, with Cypress participating on a sliding scale based upon the overall IRR obtained.
